The Lagos State Authorities says it should resume the administration of the second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on August 30.
Mr. Tunbosun Ogunbanwo, Director, Public Affairs within the state Ministry of Well being, mentioned this in an announcement on Sunday in Lagos.
Ogunbanwo mentioned that administration of the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine would maintain throughout the 88 vaccination websites used through the first part of the vaccination train.
In keeping with him, the vaccination can be for 20 days, from August 30 to September 24.
He mentioned that solely individuals who had acquired the primary shot of the vaccine through the first part of the AstraZeneca vaccination train within the state had been eligible for the train.
